  • 2+ years experience with PLC & HMI platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware, Intellution.
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment as required or scheduled.
  • Develop predictive maintenance procedures to maximize replacement component life without compromise to equipment efficiency and performance.
  • Knowledge of various automation components such as, pneumatics, electronics, sensors and switches.
  • Able to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics.
  • Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problem.
  • Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
  • Consult with customers, supervisor, and engineers to plan layout of equipment and to resolve problems in system operation and maintenance.
  • Maintains equipment in compliance with National Electric Code (NEC) and Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • Participates as team member and understands and applies LEAN principals used in the facility's continuous improvement initiatives.
