CNC Programmer

We are searching for a CNC programmer with experience in either laser etch, brake press and/or turret.


Responsible for developing solutions to production problems relating to materials, processes, machining and or fabrication and tooling. Supports new programs by developing new processes and assisting with the designing of tooling and machinery and development of production controls. 


·         Prepare and maintain multi-axis mill, wire EDM, laser and lathe programs for CNC machine tools.

·         Develop manufacturing processes for new products, and other in -house applications; i.e. gages tooling and fixtures.

·         Design or help in the design of jigs, tools, fixtures, and special equipment for CNC applications.

·         Identify excessive cost, develop methods for cost reductions, and implement identified cost reductions.

·         Assist quality engineers and operators with the validation of new or revised programs and processes.

·         Maintain the integrity of CNC programs and the DNC file system. 

·         Communicate and work effectively with manufacturing engineers and development engineers. 

·         Assist systems designers, hardware specialists and software specialists with the introduction of new technologies and computer advancements into the manufacturing processes

Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in CNC programming machining (Unigraphics or Master CAM preferred)

Medical or aerospace industry experience preferred

Punch press experience required- Tru Tops preferred

Brake Press and/or Turret

Laser etch programming experience preferred, but not required

Experience with AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) required

Scriba for the laser programming

Microsoft Office experience preferred

Motivated to succeed personally and professionally in a team environment

High school diploma or GED required.  Additional technical training preferred

Working knowledge of cutting stainless steel, titanium, or cobalt chrome preferred
