We need great press brakes field service technicians! The job offers challenges and allows you to build on your skills. Our technology-leading press brakes set the standard for innovation. Our system software and advanced material handling solutions for the processing of metal and other sheet materials offer our customers a competitive edge. Our reputation for the high level customer service is known industry-wide. You will be installing premier press brake equipment and also getting a chance to work with our dynamic customers.
 
For the most part, here the things that you will be doing:
 
  • Assemble and install  equipment
 
  • Perform troubleshooting to support preventive maintenance
  • Hang on to a positive attitude to keep our customers happy
  • Install start-ups and commissioning of equipment
  • Travel to customer locations to instruct customer on applications, machine operation, and maintenance and safety
 
  • Keep us in the know by filling out installation feedback reports
  • Be safe and follow our safety rules
  • Complete and pass basic course outline
  • Learn where reference documentation is and how to find your way through it
  • Order and return parts the right way within our guidelines

What you need
 
  • An Associate’s Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree and/or two years maintenance, installation, service work related experience or a combination of education/experience equivalent of the required knowledge, skills and abilities,
 
  • Minimum of two year’s work experience in maintenance, installation and/or service experience involving assembly, installation, start-ups and commissioning of equipment
 
  • Experience servicing nationwide customers involving heavy travel schedule at times that includes some weekends and overtime to meet installation schedules and preventive maintenance
  • Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and blueprint reading
  • Basic computer, CNC programming
  • Excellent customer service and  communication skills
  • Live within 50 miles of a major airport
  • Positions available throughout the USA
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
