General Manager-Twin Falls, ID

Education & Experience:
BS/BA Degree in Business or Logistics Management (Bachelor's Degree required)
 Proven track record in successfully identifying and implementing potential efficiency gains and increasing business unit profitability;
 Proven track record in developing and maintaining positive customer relations;
 Proven track record in effective leading, coaching, mentoring and developing a team, from both a productivity/motivation and succession planning standpoint;

Develop annual facility budget and ensure group adherence to budget.
Direct and assign work; set performance objectives and monitor performance of all warehouse departments.
Recruit, hire, train, appraise, and coach management-level team members. Ensure retention standards are met.
Ensure compliance with employment laws.
Manage all warehouse activities, costs, operations and forecasts. Monitor progress towards goals.
Provide a safe work environment through personal actions. Identify any safety concerns, as well as cost saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as all Federal, State and Local OSHA regulations.
Represent the Company to all warehouse customers. Secure additional business and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Ensure that warehouse concerns are heard at corporate level. Communicates stated Company goals, objectives and direction to warehouse staff.
Affect prevention or reduction of property, liability or personnel loss exposure for the Company.
Ensure that care, custody and control procedures are in place. Monitor operational performance.
Promote an open door policy and team environment.
Develop/maintain plans for disaster prevention and recovery.
Other duties as requested.

Knowledge of industry best practices within a distribution environment and working
Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration standards and transportation logistics;
Ability to identify and secure new business partnership opportunities;
Ability to maintain excellent relationships with partners/customers;
Ability to identify the strengths of others, and coach/mentor them into a role that will capitalize on those strengths.

Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement changes;
Highly developed self awareness with a continuous improvement philosophy;
Computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems;
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy;
Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
