Job Description
We are looking for a Global Program Manager who will lead multi-location, cross functional teams to deliver new products to market through a structured stage gate process. This role ensures new products meet specific customer requirements, program goals, timelines and budgets. Program Managers take P&L accountability for all activity through product launch. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for successful launch of new products within the program management group. 
  • Ensure launch process standardization across the different locations and product families. 
  • Lead the company program management organization globally and ensure a suitable org structure is implemented and maintained to support company and customer requirements in the areas of business acquisition support, product launch, and major changes after launch. 
  • Lead cross-functional/multicultural teams to ensure proper and timely execution of program plans and support teams in case of escalation. 
  • Act as senior escalation point with respect to customer communication with all relevant customers. 
  • Program tracking and reporting of project and platform status to senior management. 
  • Manage all risks and ensure that projects are met on time, in budget, and within customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee programs so that the requirements of speed, cost, technical performance and quality are met. Control and monitor expense and cost of projects and support cost estimation and calculation processes. 

Percentage of Travel: 10-30% US/International  

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities: 
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or related technical field required. 
  • Minimum 8 years related experience within Program Management in the automotive industry. 
  • Cross Functional experience within a Matrix organization as well as Tier 1 OEM PM experience.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills.  
  • Ability to organize, manage and control workflow and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Strong financial acumen 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comprehensive technical and commercial understanding.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to meet project guidelines.
  • PMP Certification a plus.
  • Proven ability to integrate business, marketing, and technical elements of a new product development program, including anticipating issues and driving countermeasures and issues to closure.
