Job Description
Our Materials Planners are responsible for raw materials and packaging materials; and plant supplies, maintenance inventory items, and other items.

To be considered for this role, you should;
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) in food or beverage processing.
  • List 2 examples of how you have implemented change (in processes / SOP's)
  • Provide 2 examples of how you have handled a vendor issue (problem with product quality, delivery, etc)
  • Have extensive experience with MS Excel (MOS Certification preferred)
  • Have a Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
Essential Duties
  • Review inventory requirements and make purchase decisions based on the requirements needed for all raw and packaging materials.
  • Set up delivery orders for commodity contracts.
  • Enter the purchase orders into computer, print, collate and distribute to the warehouse and A/P Department.
  • Monitor the inventory requirements on a regular basis and make adjustments to delivery dates as needed by production and to best utilize warehouse space.
  • Place purchase orders for plant supplies, maintenance inventory, packaging materials, etc.
  • Handle any invoice discrepancies with the vendors. 
  • Coordinate all raw and packaging changes/updates between internal and external customers.
  • Assist with physical inventories.
  • Handle rejected/on-hold materials, including contact with QA, warehouse and supplier.
