Global Pharmaceutical company in Northern NJ is expanding and is looking for Packaging Mechanic Serialization


Our company is a niche pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets generic and branded prescription pharmaceuticals as well as animal and consumer health products. We specialize in difficult-to-manufacture sterile and non-sterile dosage forms including: ophthalmic, injectables, oral liquids, OTCs, topicals, inhalants, and nasal sprays. We market our products to retail pharmacies, ophthalmologists, optometrist, physicians, veterinarians, hospitals, clinics, wholesalers, distributors, group purchasing organizations, and government agencies.

We are looking for a 3rd shift Packaging Mechanic. Serialization experience preferred but not required. Essential Duties Troubleshooting packaging, and serialization equipment. Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical troubleshooting. Advanced electrical skills: ability to diagnose control circuits, drives. PLC experience preferred but not required. Train employees on various manufacturing equipment. Keeping up to date with SOPs and Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) Changeover of production equipment related to serialization. Assembles and/or modifies complex components and systems. Installs mechanical assemblies and hardware. Checks out newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operation conditions. Communicate within the Engineering and Manufacturing departments Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Analysis of equipment repairs/solutions and recommendations. Active participant and recommended solutions to monthly safety meetings. Additional Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned Responsibilities include training of all employees involved with Serialization Accountable for employee compliance with safety procedures 
Must have 5-10 years of experience and a HS degree
