As Product Manager for Supply Chain Solutions, you will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop innovative ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with other Product Managers to identify synergistic opportunities and multi-product solutions that benefit customers.  You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers. Job Description:

  • Engage leadership & industry analysts to shape the future of Supply Chain Design at client company.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going communications to customers and prospective customers.
  • Prioritizing requirements from various stakeholders to deliver the most value for both the company and our customers.
  • Leading Product Development and Applied Research teams through market requirements, product definition, and positioning to deliver important product capabilities that solve critical customer problems.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape to better position the product and guide future development.
  • Ensure on-going product performance related to overall product quality and achieving product revenue goals.

The Qualifications:

  • 4 to 10 years of experience in product management, or relevant supply chain design experience in production and distribution footprint, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing. Consulting in relevant areas also considered.
  • Understanding of principles of optimization and simulation and how they are performed using software packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully drive and communicate product vision, strategy, goals, and timelines to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver multiple projects in parallel on time.
  • Proven capability to effectively manage multiple priorities and change, while maintaining product and team vision.
  • Knowledge and experience of supply chain design projects and techniques.
  • Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management. or relevant professional experience.  Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America and Europe (25%)
