THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
  • This role will provide you with the ability to supervise anywhere between 15 to 25 employees on your shift and you will be responsible for ensuring that you provide supervisory oversight with regards to receiving of dairy products, processing of fluid products, cheese making, and cultured products production/packaging.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
  • Bachelor of Science degree and five years related experience and/or training, or an approved combination of education and experience.
  • Ideally, you will have proficiencies in Cheese making and working with cultured products, such as cottage cheese, yogurt, and cheese along with milk production
  • It is preferred that you have a background with laboratory pH and titration along with a strong understanding of pasteurization;
  • Hopefully, you have some working knowledge of Dairy Plant Sanitation and GFSI
  • Will be responsible for the scheduling and/or adjustment in schedules to accommodate production requirements.
  • Will be responsible for auditing plant records as well as working closely with maintenance on preventative programs and sanitation on the facilities master sanitation program.
  • Will be required to follow Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities and comply with all Plant, State, Federal, OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, and SQF guidelines and regulations for food safety, quality and employee safety.
  • Experience with multi-line production, preferably in a dairy manufacturing environment would work.
  • Previous background in developing employees regarding skills, abilities, and talents to maximize their value.
