Job Description


A very successful local company looking for hands-on quality engineers!  A person in this position will ensure the quality of the assembly process and fulfill customer expectations while quickly and effectively take action when non-conformances are found.  Responsible for maintaining the most recent interpretations of the quality system requirements and ensuring that documented practices meet the true interpretation of the quality management system standards.


 Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

 Facilitate and promoted use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root-cause analysis and successful corrective action

 Coordinate with after-market, materials, engineering, and production to resolve customer complaints and concerns

 Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques

 Manage quality metrics and present findings and recommendations to the management team

 Executing the duties of the position such that the focus in largely proactive versus reactive

 Perform internal audits

 Advocating as the “voice of the “customer” demanding the highest quality expectations from our Team



 Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerances and materials related issues

 Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solutions options

 Monitor build-charts, and other quality metrics and present findings and recommendation to the management team

 Develop the annual audit plan, train internal auditors and provide ongoing communication /reporting of results

 Ensures readiness for all internal and external quality audits

 Maintaining the integrity of the quality system requirements with lean, cost-effective strategies to meet ADI organizational needs

 Results Oriented –maintains appropriate focus on short-and-long term

 Influence & Positive impact 

 Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups, including suppliers, customers and associates
