We have an excellent full-time day shift opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work as an Surgical RN - Circulator as a member of the Surgical Services Staff.  This position is responsible for providing safe and competent nursing care to individual patients in a Perioperative setting including assessing, planning, implementing, directing and evaluating the care of patients in the surgical suite.

In this position you will:
  • Work in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs in patient care.
  • Conduct daily scheduling and staffing of personnel into surgery suites for the day’s cases.
  • Works as part of a team to gather and position equipment and supplies.
  • Wipe down the operating room furniture and spotlights prior to first surgery of the day using proper aseptic techniques.
  • Functions independently as a clinical staff member of surgery team.
  • Assists department director in daily decision making, strategic planning and budget development.
Requirements include:
  • BSN or ASN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 2+ years of surgical experience.
  • Operating Room circulation experience.
  • Current RN license in Idaho or compact state or able to obtain Idaho licensure.
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification required within 3 months (Hospital will assist with certification)
