Job Description
Our client has been in the specialty food/beverage industry for 30 years. Their high-quality products are available at specialty retailers across the country. Our client seeks an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to manage the Northeast territory. The ideal candidate can work remotely but must travel frequently especially to key markets in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.. 

Responsibilities:
Prospect and and develop new business, create sales proposals for potential customers, sales reps and brokers
Nurture key retail relationships and determine growth opportunties
Manage, train and mentor a team of sales reps/brokers
Evaluate and assess the product marketability in comparison to consumer trends and culture
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for accounts
Monitor customer expectations and satisfaction with products
Generate and maintain reports on a weekly basis in regards to business development
Conduct and document performance reviews with brokers

Qualifications:
5+ years in the nature specialty food/beverage sales space
BA or BS degree with at least 5 years of field sales experience
5+ years in broker management experience
Must have a successful track record of achieving sales goals
Strong analytic and organizational skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and PowerPoint (and be able to create sales presentations)
Must be able to travel 75%, multi-task and be a brand ambassador
