This positon requires coming to the Office in ATLANTA, GA.  Not possible to work remotely.
 
Boiled down:  my client will look at any one that has sold Enterprise Applications to the Insurance Carriers and based in Atlanta.
 
My Client is perhaps the largest and most successful consulting firm that most people never heard of.  Our professionals are mostly actuaries and statisticians.  This Sales Position is for their SOFTWARE side of the business.
 
We are currently rolling out a cloud-based enterprise level solution for major insurers around the world.  Our team has been developing and selling actuarial solutions for twenty years.
We have recently introduced one of the most comprehensive models available for estimating insurance reserve variability.  We have on-going projects to continue to extend our expertise in the areas of statistical reserving and modeling capabilities, and to make those solutions available to our Clients. 

Position summary

Our team develops industry-leading loss analysis solutions for property & casualty insurance companies worldwide.
Experience selling enterprise-level Insurance solutions, preferably solutions with deep statistical or complex financial reporting requirements. 

Primary responsibilities

  • responsible for all aspects of the sales process;  generate and qualify sales leads, demonstrate our solutions, follow up on sales leads to closing, and assist with and manage day-to-day client relationships
  • identify the likely buyers from among senior insurance industry executives (Chief Actuary, CFO, CEO, CIO) at target insurance companies
  • make one-on-one sales presentations regarding any or all of our software solutions;  typical sales are from $20,000 to $200,000+ with a typical sales cycle of two months to a year
  • develop strategies for, and assist in, the marketing of all software and consulting product offerings;  provide significant input into advertising, product and marketing planning, budgeting, and the development of necessary related intellectual capital (sales presentations, marketing materials, templates, case studies, etc.)
  • help design rollout plans for major new products currently under development, and play a key role in implementing the related market introductions
  • arrange and manage seminars and group sales demonstrations, and participate in promotional activities at trade shows and seminars
  • maintain timely lead tracking, reporting and knowledge sharing of activities with appropriate teammates
  • manage lead generation activities through multiple channels 
  • help educate other consulting practices within the COMPANY about our products and services including, high-level selling points and how to identify potential opportunities

 

Skills and requirements

  • extensive knowledge of the property & casualty insurance industry, especially regarding finance, actuarial, OR statistical issues
  • minimum of 7 years of successful sales and account executive experience with large or enterprise financial solution sets, and selling to executive level decision makers
