Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
  • B.A./B.S. degree highly preferred, ideally in Human Resources or Business (will consider non-degreed individuals with 10+ years of experience)
  • 4+ years of industry experience is required in order to be considered for this role.
  • A candidate for this role MUST have experience with Unions.
  • 30-40% travel will be required for this role, especially in the first year as this person gets to know the people and facilities that they are supporting.
Job Description:
This person will be part of a team supporting 32 facilities, 8 of them are union facilities. This person will assist and partner with various levels of management on projects, audits, compliance, acquisitions, performance management and employee relation issues. This includes a variety of things, including administering and monitoring FMLA leaves, conducting phone and in-person interviews with potential hires, providing training with regard to new-hire orientation, benefits changes, regulatory items, and providing back-up support to HR specialists and the Director of Human Resources when needed.
